Guest Speaker – Matthew Miller, University of Victoria Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences.
Topic : Microplastics in the Vancouver Island Marine Environment. Mr. Miller will provide an overview of the research on microplastics, the impact of this pollutant on marine life and the eco-system, and suggestions on how to reduce microplastic levels in our oceans.
